All of A Sudden...
All of a sudden, things are moving very quickly.
I intentionally slowed things down a bit yesterday because I wanted to take time to reflect. Its funny how people respond when they see that you are passionate about something, you've done your research and you're ready. If they wish you well, they immediately do what they can to speed the process. I'm in awe of all the wonderful, supportive people that I have in my corner.
I couldn't stop smiling yesterday :)

Goals
A word about goals.
I've found that if you divide a huge goal into several smaller goals, the end result seems much less daunting.
I did this when I studied fashion design in Florence and when I worked in the fashion industry in London. I had the ridiculous idea that I COULD do these things. So, I sat down with a pencil and a piece of paper and I worked it out.
I divided my huge goal into sections and set target dates for completing each section. Each time I completed one of the smaller tasks, I gave myself a small reward. The rewards grew bigger and more extravagant as I moved closer to my ultimate goal. And in the end, my grand prize was knowing that I was able to accomplish something that initially seemed overwhelming to me.
It can be done!

I just had the most amazing new product idea. Its something very girly and frilly and pretty and FRENCH! And that's all I'm going to say about it.
Speaking of French, my French language course starts this weekend. I'm excited but a little afraid. I've forgotten so much!

It's Official
It's official.
I hate snow!
It makes every outdoor task more difficult.
Note to self: make plans to spend every future winter somewhere other than here.
A lot happened today but not much got done. Tomorrow I will mix another batch of conditioner for my Mom. After the chemotherapy she didn't want to add any chemicals to her hair. It's amazing how thick and curly it is now! But she always had long, thick beautiful hair. I remember that.
Cancer is a thief.
Just like time.
